Telephone Club

Telephone Club is one of the minigames in Yakuza 0. It is done at the Teltel Boys Club locations in Kamurocho and Sotenbori.

Description

This is a telephone dating simulation minigame, but with the mechanics of a shooting game. Aim well to have your characters say all the right things, keep the conversation going, and to convince the other girl on the other end to go on a date with you.

Waiting on a call

Girls will call into the telephone club every now and then. When the phone rings, an input icon will appear on the screen. Press the correct button quickly to pick up the phone.

If you do not answer in time, the girl will hang up, and you will have to wait again while the clock keeps ticking...

Chatting up a girl

Once you pick up the phone, the conversation begins. To chat up a girl successfully, you will need to choose the correct dialogue options without being too distracted by fantasies.

Try not to offend or creep the girl out.

Different dialogue lines will float around the screen. Once you find your desired response, charge your telephone beam by rotating and holding R, aim with L, and then release R to shoot your line.

Shoot the right dialogue lines to build up the mood. But if you hit the wrong wrongs, your character might say something that could upset the girl. Upset a girl too many times, and she may hang up on you.

If you want to hang up, hold L1. This can be useful if you get a bad feeling about a girl based on how she sounds. Not every caller will be your type, and her voice can be a clue.

Vital Questions Roulette

There are some personal questions you can ask only when the conversation is going well and the girl is in a good mood.

The Vital Question Roulette might pop up when that happens.

The first roulette enables you to ask about the girl's body, and the second about her face. With this info, your idea of what the girl looks like will grow more detailed.

The third roulette will let you ask the girl on a date. Succeed in picking the right line, and she will agree to meet with you.

The choices will be spinning quickly, but the right one will be highlighted. Press the X button when it is at the front.
