Sohei Dojima is the patriarch of the Dojima Family.
Patriarch of the Tojo Clan's Dojima Family. He issued the order to his three lieutenants to acquire the Empty Lot. Combining violent cruelty with an insatiable thirst for power, he readily employs harsh and illegal means to gain what he wants. After strengthening his grip on Kamurocho by crushing a rival organization comprised of Asian immigrants several years ago, the Dojima Family became the largest entity in the Tojo Clan. During that purge, it is said he ordered his men Kazama and Shimano to murder both the immigrants and their families to ensure they wouldn't return.
A leading patriarch of the Tojo Clan, the largest yakuza organization in eastern Japan. While in his prime he was a man of great power and influence, he finds himself now reflecting on the glory days of the past while Kazama, his captain, runs the family. One rainy night in 1995, after kidnapping Kiryu and Nishikiyama's childhood friend, Yumi, his life is ended when Nishikiyama arrives on the scene and shoots him. Kiryu takes the blame for the crime and is branded as a patriarch killer.
